Tireless traveler

Born in Venice, a citizen of the world, she began her career at a very young age, with great
instinct and artistic talent, a career as a jewelry designer. After completing her professional studies in gemology, she began to travel to every corner of the planet, from the richest to the most disadvantaged, drawing inspiration for her creations, embracing different cultures and building unique connections and projects.
Poet, painter, tireless traveler, inclined to sports and physical well-being, she is passionate about the most daring activities but also the most meditative ones, so much so that she became a yoga trainer in India.

Already the author of a hilarious book, A Turquoise Dawn, in which she recounts her adventures as a young mother and woman, she now gives us her long-awaited second book, with a look at life through the eyes of the adult woman she has become.

A strong and independent woman who does not hide behind any compromise. “Like waves on the sand”… peaceful waves that disperse on the shore in an infinite repetition, or stormy waves that break on the ground? Maybe both, in what seems to be a search for who we are, who we want to be, but most of all who we want to become. Because life never ceases to amaze us, at any age.
So getting lost in the pages of this book is like getting lost in the waves of the sea.
And who knows if the protagonist will want to return to shore.

My Paintings

Art must be powerful, impactful, a little crazy and must be able to involve the senses, the mind, the heart and the soul. This is the concept underlying the intense painting of Marzia Hangers.

One of the central nuclei of the art of Marzia it is the female body, represented in its most explicit yet never vulgar sensuality, in a celebration of form, movement, carnality that becomes an affirmation of identity. His paintings of soft buttocks, generous breasts, thin lingerie that caresses the skin, are much more than a tribute to physical beauty: they are a visual manifesto of a woman who does not hide, who exists without asking permission. The color accompanies this declaration with tones that are sometimes bright, sometimes more intimate, creating a play of contrasts that enhances physicality without ever making it a mere object of passive gaze. The body here is not to be observed, but to be felt, understood, interpreted. There is no modesty, no censorship: there is only the essence of femininity, free from conventions and judgments.

In the works of Marzia, the modernity of the image is intertwined with an eternal sense of affirmation of female identity, where the body becomes a means of communication, power and self-determination.

The Red Corestto

The absolute protagonist is a red corset that wraps the sensual body of a woman, showing a play of lace and transparencies, in a "see and do not see", breathtaking curves. Other parts of the body are also visible with light colors, while the color of the flesh and the red of the corset emerge from the black background, effectively lighting up life, inside and out, and manifesting an exit from the darkness and from Non-Being.

Crazy Moment

In this visual representation, the human body becomes a means of expression, where a woman's 'bottom' is revealed in all its sensuality, wrapped in light-coloured culottes that capture the gaze and invite the viewer to reflect on the many facets of beauty. The work is then enriched by a suggestive technique that generates a bewitching and engaging visual game, making it appear as if it were the negative of a photo, where however peachy lines and golden scales emerge, as if to indicate that a pinch of beauty and eros is enough to overcome every greyness. Marzia, therefore, leads the observer-reader on a journey through the oscillation between reality and dream, between what is clearly manifest and what is hidden, inviting him to explore the boundaries of imagination and perception.

In Marzia's art there is no modesty, no censorship: there is only the essence of femininity, free from conventions and judgments. In this sense, Marzia's work recalls artists such as Egon Schiele, with his ability to transform the body into a map of emotions and tensions, and Tamara de Lempicka, with her bold, plastic, almost sculptural female figures, full of a magnetic and sensual charm.

With quick brushstrokes, Marzia is able to combine the desire of a pair of gloves with the lust and desire of the flesh.

Freedom

This painting represents for Marzia the right of women to be free. Free from mistreatment, free from the constraints and abuses of which she is still a victim in many parts of the world. "Freedom" is a woman imprisoned by a veil from which she tries to rebel by screaming. A cry that cannot be pretended not to hear.

In this painting Marzia explores sensuality and feminine aesthetics in a bold and provocative way. In her paintings every body is a celebration of vital energy. Color becomes the absolute protagonist, exploding in vibrant shades that recall the Fauvism of Henri Matisse.

The yellow corset

Marzia's art celebrates, in a fascinating hymn to femininity, the form and sensuality in a suggestive and engaging way. All this happens both in the wake of Gustav Klimt, known for his decorative and sensual paintings that often portray women in suggestive poses, surrounded by ornamental motifs and precious fabrics, and in the wake of Tamara de Lempicka, whose paintings explore sensuality and feminine aesthetics in a bold and provocative way.

You discover

I have always needed to express my feelings through art forms, whether it was writing, painting or designing jewelry. Sometimes I have ideas, thoughts and they remain hidden inside my heart, as if they needed to grow to be born... and that's how it happens... then suddenly what I imagined only in my mind takes shape... platinum and gold begin to shape in my laboratory,

Salvadori. The metal melts, molds and transforms, taking on the appearance of my design. And when this happens, the emotion is very strong and I can't wait to see my jewel worn by my customers.

Many people think that a jewel is just an object equivalent in money to appear or whatever, but it is not so: behind a jewel there is a story to tell, whether it is my story, that I put into creating it; or your story, in passing it on, in wearing it. Sometimes, when I feel I need support, I wear a ring, Salvadori of course, that my grandmother gave me. It is in white gold with a little heart of cabochon-cut pink tourmaline adorned with diamonds. I wear it and I feel like she is close by.

When my father passed away, however, I wanted to design something that represented his life. The life of a man with the values of other times: family, stability, his integrity and nobility of soul. I wanted to create an essential object, without frills. If I had to associate a stone with my father, it would certainly have been the diamond: strong, above all. So the diamond had to be the protagonist. So I took up the classic point of light, the solitaire and the eternity ring. The Il Sogno Collection was born. It seemed like a sudden thing to me, but instead it was a whole life that was growing inside me. It is made of platinum, the rarest and purest material, and the claws that support the diamonds are in the shape of an “S”... of Salvadori’s “Sogno”.

When I imagine the moment when the Salvadori box will be opened, I see a smile. When you smile you give love, and I didn't want to put limits on this love. That's how I created "Salvadori, a gift of love", to give a smile even to those who will never be able to open a material gift, but will be able to receive our, your help, as part of the proceeds from the sales of the Salvadori jewel supports humanitarian projects together with Actionaid, an independent international organization.

Ca'd'Oro Bracelet

In this collection Marzia has reinterpreted the play of solids and voids of one of the perforations of the loggia on the second floor of the Ca'd'Oro Palace on the Grand Canal in Venice.

Summer rain

This collection was inspired by the sensations that only summer rain clouds and the play of light of timid rays can give. The precious intertwining of diamonds and gold give, to those who wear them, extreme peace and a refinement that moves away just to leave room for a touch of innovation, a distinctive detail of the beautiful season.
